Hi, I’m Der…
(She/Her)
I am a clinical intern completing a masters in Clinical Psychology from Capella University. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minor in Art Therapy from Mount Mary University.
My ideal client is an individual experiencing emotional stress, identity challenges, or trauma, which affects their ability to manage daily responsibilities and find personal fulfillment. They seek support to heal from past wounds, regain self-confidence, and develop strategies to better cope with life’s pressures.
The client’s I work with often seek support to heal from past wounds, regain self-confidence, and develop strategies to better cope with life’s pressures. Their goal is to achieve emotional balance, enhance their sense of self-worth, and foster healthier relationships, all while navigating the demands of parenthood or personal growth. I strive to help people feel empowered and resilient in their day-to-day life and relationships.
I can help by offering a supportive space for clients to explore their challenges and emotions.
Using a person-centered approach, I assist them in healing from past trauma, managing stress, and rebuilding their self-esteem. Together, we will set achievable goals, develop actionable strategies, and track progress to improve emotional resilience, create balance, and foster personal and familial growth. Goal-setting will be a key part of our work, helping clients stay focused and empowered on their journey to well-being.
I understand that life’s challenges can feel isolating, especially when trying to balance personal struggles with the demands of being a parent or individual. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, know that it’s okay to ask for help. Together, we’ll work to rebuild your sense of self, create goals that resonate with you, and develop practical steps toward healing. I believe in your strength, and I’m committed to walking alongside you, offering a space of empathy, understanding, and genuine care. You don’t have to face this journey alone—let’s take the first step together.
