Cardinal Psychotherapy is in network for most major health plans, however, certain practitioners may not be in network due to limitations imposed by certain plans. We are happy to check your benefits for you, however, ultimately it is up to you to ensure that you are covered for services and to understand your plan’s requirements for payment and coverage. We recommend that all clients call their insurance company to check their benefits prior to commencing services.

If your insurance company isn’t listed here, contact our billing team to find out how much of your therapy will be covered by your insurance. Many insurance companies offer partial coverage for out of network plans, and we are happy to check on that for you.
Client Payments
In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, and to ensure client confidentiality, we do not routinely send paper statements to clients' homes. Rather, billing statements can be downloaded directly through your client portal. In order to streamline client payments, all client co-payments are run automatically on the day of the service. For clients who have co-insurance payments, these payments are run automatically once the insurance company has fully processed and returned the claim with the client amount due. For clients with high deductible health plans or for those who are paying out of pocket for services, these payments are run weekly in order to prevent large balances and surprise bills.
