Position Overview

Cardinal Psychotherapy is located East of downtown St. Paul off of Highways 94 and 694, and currently serves the needs of children, families, adults, and couples in the surrounding counties. We are a team holistic and integrative minded clinicians, treating the whole person in order to heal both body and mind. Cardinal Psychotherapy is considered in-network with: Blue Cross, Anthem, Health Partners, UCare, PreferredOne, Aetna, Medica/Optum/UHC, Cigna, and Medical Assistance.

Ideal Intern

Our ideal intern will be interested in trauma therapy, and will enjoy engaging in mental health from an integrative and holistic perspective. Also, we are especially interested in individuals who may want to work long-term in a private practice and are interested in learning some of the business aspects of private practice. 

Positions available Spring, Summer, and Fall

We have availability several times per year for independent and creative students to work with a variety of client populations. Interns will work closely with one supervisor and will manage a small caseload of clients, as well as doing some administrative and business tasks. Supervision will be primarily one-on-one with opportunities for group consultation as well.
